Over the last fifty years I have spent time with horses in one way or another. I was blessed to get my first pony when I was eight for Christmas and then owned several more before giving up riding for a few years in my late teens. I came back to horses when I attended and graduated from a local horsemanship school when I was 23. I began to teach public riding full time, along with children’s summer camps, the OSU horseback riding program, and some freelance teaching. My teaching career was put on hold when my son was born. But, several years later my husband and I bought a horse for our children and a small farm to go with it! For 16 years we cared for and loved a small herd of horses. Now, here I am later in life, teaching students again and I became PATH Certified for Therapeutic Riding. I also am a professional Bach Foundation Registered Practitioner and have been using flower essences for over 30 years. My love for horses and a life filled with holistic health and understanding has given me a deep understanding of how quiet, peaceful time around and with horses can help and heal each and every one of us in profound ways.

I’ve spent most of my life riding horses. The rest I’ve just wasted.
